NASHVILLE, Alabama – The carpet cleaning industry has seen a dramatic increase in popularity in the United States.
According to the American Board of Professional and Occupational Therapists, the carpet cleaning business is now worth $1.4 billion.
The National Association of Concrete and Plastic Surgeons said the industry has grown by more than $100 million since 2001.
While the business has seen tremendous growth, the main challenge remains to keep up with demand and supply.
The Association for Concrete Cleaning Industries (ACPCI) says that demand is the key to the industry’s success.
“We’re constantly searching for ways to deliver better service and more efficient products to our customers,” ACPCI CEO Jim Grosjean said.
“This is a growing industry and is going to continue to grow.
We have a lot of things that we can learn from each other and continue to evolve.”
The ACPCPI also provides training for professionals and provides a directory for carpet cleaning businesses in the country.
“We have a big target on our back,” GrosJean said, “to create a better carpet cleaning environment.
We want to make sure that the customer knows they have the right person in their home who understands what they’re dealing with and can do the job with the best of care and attention.
We’re in this to do the right thing.”
The industry also has its sights set on a more sustainable future.
ACPCCI President and CEO, John Grosman, believes that the industry is well on its way to creating a cleaner, more sustainable industry.
Grosjées organization, ACPC, works with the state of Tennessee to ensure that businesses and residents are treated fairly and that they have a clean and healthy environment.
