Henson, Josh Gad, Adam Driver, and Chris Pine as the titular lions who are on a quest to find their prince after his father is killed.
While that film was the first movie to premiere in theaters, “Won’t You Be Mine” will air on Disney XD in its entirety, and is the series’ first new film since the original “Wonders of Oz” debuted on Walt Disney Studios back in 1995.
“Wont You Be Me” is based on the book by Stephenie Meyer, the creator of the popular children’s series “Wonderful World.”
It’s a great opportunity to be in front of your audience and to be able to tell stories, especially as a child and an adult, said Feige.
“You can’t go back to the way you were when you were a kid and go, ‘Oh, I don’t want to be here anymore.’
And I think this is a good opportunity to take that step back and give your audience a new experience.”
The first-ever “WONDERS OF OZ” themed film, “Cats vs. Zombies,” opens on July 17.
